My stay at Ramada Limited Downtown Vancouver had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic for exploring nearby sites, though the room size and amenities fell a bit short of what I expected. While the staff was friendly and accommodating, the breakfast experience could definitely use some improvement.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were a bit small, and while they were comfortable, I was disappointed with the amenities. The bathroom floor felt oddly rough and cold, and I experienced some noise from the street. Overall, it met my basic needs but wasn't what I hoped for.
Service
8.0
The staff was very nice and helpful. They informed me right away about a water damage issue with my reserved room, and they seemed genuinely eager to ensure I had a pleasant stay. It was reassuring to have attentive service.
Location
10.0
The hotel's location is a big advantage. I loved being within walking distance of Gastown and other attractions. Plus, it was easy to catch public transportation for longer trips or reach places like Roger's Arena and BC Place. I felt safe walking around during my stay.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was quite limited and uninteresting, and the setup was a bit chaotic as we had to squeeze around other guests to get food. I think they could benefit from better organization and presentation.
Facilities
6.0
Basic amenities like valet parking and laundry services were available. However, I found the breakfast area lacking and overall the facilities didn't stand out as really good.

I had a decent stay at Ramada Limited Downtown Vancouver. The location is perfect, just a short walk to many great spots like restaurants and Canada Place. However, the hotel felt a bit dated, and some of the rooms have limited views. Overall, it was clean and offered a free breakfast, which was a nice bonus. 😄

Rooms

My room was small with a tiny, obscured window but clean and functional. While the view wasn't great, it served its purpose for one night before my flight.

The hotel’s location is ideal for accessing major attractions and restaurants, although I did notice the area felt a bit sketchy at times.

The hotel was close to Gastown and Canada Place, making it easy for me to walk to various attractions along the waterfront. However, this end of Vancouver felt a bit depressed and was noisy, which was a downside.

The included continental breakfast was decent but a bit basic. It could have been improved with more variety, like a meat option to accompany the eggs.

The hotel offered useful amenities like laundry services, but there were drawbacks, such as parking machines only accepting coins.

My stay at Ramada Limited Downtown Vancouver was a mixed experience. The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made a real difference. However, the area felt a bit sketchy at times, and there were some issues with room amenities and cleanliness that detracted from my overall comfort.

Rooms

The room was comfortable enough, but it lacked a fridge and seemed a bit overpriced. The noise from the ice machine outside my room was annoying. Yet, the furniture and bathroom specifications were decent.

The location was great for shopping and sightseeing. However, I did notice that the area had some cleanliness issues, and it felt a bit unsafe at times. It's in Gastown, which is in the early stages of gentrification.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast included was nice and needed for my travel schedule. However, the dining area was less than inviting and could use improvements. It didn't have the best vibe, but the food itself was fine.
Facilities

They offered useful facilities like dry cleaning and laundry, which were reasonably priced. But I encountered some issues with the vending machines not accepting credit cards.
